Winslow Townson is a Boston based freelance photographer who has been photographing sports and news for over 25 years. In addition to general sports coverage, Winslow specializes in shooting on strobes, glass backboard remotes, and hockey goal cameras.

Among his current client list you will find The Associated Press, Sports Illustrated, Getty Images, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Reuters, NCAA Photos, The Sporting News and The Hockey Hall of Fame.

His unfailing talent at covering all sporting events brings him from home openers to championships. His coverage includes The Super Bowl, The NBA Finals, The World Series, The NCAA Final Four, The Stanley Cup Finals, NASCAR and World Cup Soccer. In addition to professional sports, Winslow continues his passion for shooting high school and college games.

A native of Rochester, New York, Winslow attended the Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and graduated from Curry College with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Photography. When not behind the lens, Winslow can be found playing competitive ice hockey, traveling in the Caribbean, reading up on WWII and searching out the best barbecue.
